Academic work functions as the generator of the school; and curriculum development is the core of academic affairs.  In order to make the students obtain optimal learning efficiency the School provides a broad knowledge foundation, follows the syllabus of the courses approved by the Ministry of Education, holds diverse teaching activities, and broaden the students' horizons. With establishment of moral integrity and building of strong physique as the basic tasks, the School takes cultivation of outstanding preparatory talents of the three armed forces for the four military schools as the goal, and guide the patriotic youths to develop global vision, tough and sturdy physique, and excellent performance in both civil and military affairs.  The Office is in charge of the teaching, registration, equipment, examination affairs, experimental research, planning, admission and other academic affairs of the whole School.  The main points of academic work are as follows:

1.  In-depth solidification and cultivation of students’ learning abilities

(1)  Refine the teaching methods, and provide possible paths of further studies.

(2)  Cultivate reading habit of the students, and improve their self-learning ability.

(3)  Develop latent learning courses, and enliven teaching of Mathematics, science and languages subjects.

(4)  Cultivate reading atmosphere among the students, and promote their science and humanistic literacy.

2.  Create an excellent learning environment

(1)  Strengthen the admission work to recruit excellent students.

(2)  Improve the situational design of the campus, and realize environmental education.

(3)  Increase the teaching equipment at school, and integrate information technology into teaching.

(4)  Enhance the professional knowledge and capabilities of the teachers, and promote professional development assessment of the teachers.

3.  Holistic education advocating diversified learning

(1)  Hold interschool exchange activities, and broaden the students’ horizons.

(2)  Promote and develop international education, and strengthen education localization.

(3)  Plan the school-based curriculum and diversified selectable courses for learning.

(4)  Hold camps in summer and winter vacations, and cultivate the students’ communication and leadership capabilities.

(5)  Hold different kinds of academic and art competitions and activities, and encourage the students to have growth and good performance in diversified aspects.
